I am an independent barrister specialising in civil, commercial, and construction disputes in New Zealand and internationally, acting both as arbitrator and counsel.

I have more than 15 years’ experience as a disputes partner in an international law firm and as a barrister & solicitor in New Zealand.

My practice as a dual English- and New Zealand-qualified lawyer includes:

• Sitting as arbitrator in commercial and construction arbitrations;

• Acting as counsel in arbitration, adjudication, and court litigation on civil, commercial, and construction matters; and

• Advising on risk assessment, risk allocation, and dispute resolution strategy.

I am also a Senior Lecturer in the Masters of Construction Law programme at Victoria University Wellington, where I teach and research construction law and dispute resolution.
